ZoomPlant mobile app case study
ZoomPlant is mobile app case study for fictional online plant store ZoomPlan, Inc. The idea was to build an app that would help amateur gardeners and botanists keep their plants healthy. In some ways app is imagined as sort of marketplace which would connect amateur gardeners and professional botanists.
Furthermore, this is sketch wireframes exercise that illustrate how amateur gardeners would get from the start screen of this offering to meeting their goals of having healthy plants.
Challenges and assumptions
According to limited user research they’ve done:
- People are more inclined to act on advice if they trust who it’s coming from
- Many people can’t identify their own plants
- People are indeed happier when their plants are alive

Vload.com eCommerce/eVoucher website
Vload.com is eCommerce website selling eVoucher. Since, eVoucher is financial product the goal was to make buying experience as clearly understandable and as pleasant as possible, especially since dominant user persona was low financial literacy audience.
Challenge was to, as clearly as possible, present to user what the website was all about and what are his next options. That is why the very above-the-fold section tries to communicate main value proposition and available options. The very nature of eVoucher is not tangible so it was crucial to present it visually.
